When he developed a new program combining yoga and energy work, I was excited to experience it for myself. I saw the benefits of his classes right away. The yoga was gentle and effective. The energy work was calming and healing. I felt several blocks in my body being released during these sessions resulting in increased energy and a sense of well being.
 
Michael has developed a great system of relaxing and opening the body with the yoga first and then doing the energy work to clear any areas of tension and pain in the body.

Michael had an interesting idea of combining partner yoga and polarity, so I tried his class for the first time and invited some friends. We were not dissapointed! I would definitely do the series again and invite more friends. Michael is not the type of instructor who sits at the front of the class in his zone while you follow along. His classes are very interactive and he provides one on one support to help each group master the different poses and polarity techniques. In his class, he combined his many years of experience in body work as a polarity therapist and massage practitioner with couples yoga poses. I love the concept of using partner yoga to deepen stretches and spending part of each session focusing on healing and centering. I went home at night feeling very relaxed and centered with a much needed break from tight, sore shoulders and back muscles. Being an active partner means you give and receive, and this was a great way for my friend and I to help each other work through physical issues and clear our heads. It allowed me to safely deepen stretches with the support of a friend and increase flexibility in areas of my back and shoulders that need regular attention. For those who practice yoga with an understanding of the chakras, adding polarity is a natural extension but provides a way to focus on body connections more deeply. This class was not about powering through yoga moves and testing limits, it was about deepening stretches and increasing flexibility in a gentle and safe environment.

I have attended several of Michael's partner yoga classes and found them to be quite profound. He has a wide array of knowledge that he brings to the class and an ability to work with all kinds of people wherever they are at physically and emotionally.

As a participant with my partner he was able to facilitate our working together despite our different abilities and levels of understanding. He provided a nurturing space with calm, clear instruction and lots of patience.

I felt very relaxed after each session and in the week that followed I noticed energetic changes that have had lasting effects on my well-being and in my body.
